Have I misread something here? Does not the included message read "If you have questions about registering, ask me first!"? Did I read that correctly, and at the moment I am not following directions, but I sure would like to understand. BTW, I have not posed any questions yet; I was merely awaiting the reply ... and lo, the ensuing thread unfolded ....

When you click Reply, refchat at lists.d2sra.org appears in the TO: field
 of your message, not the original sender's email address.  This is by
 design to facilitate discussion about refereeing topics in District 2.

It's a good idea to make sure that you direct your message to the
 proper recipient before clicking Send, otherwise you might reveal something
 embarrassing to several hundred subscribers of RefChat, like your
 ability to read and follow directions.  ;)
