District 2 Soccer Celebration - Saturday, October 8

In connection with the purchase agreement for a 171-acre parcel of land on which to build a new soccer complex, the San Jose Soccer Complex Foundation is sponsoring a District 2 Soccer Celebration this Saturday, October 8.

The event begins at 4:00 PM with a variety of activities including:
* Speed Kick
* Dribble, Pass and Score contests
* 5v5 games
* Earthquake players signing autographs

The activities will be followed at 7:00 PM by the Earthquakes game against Real Salt Lake.

The Soccer Celebration takes place at the San Jose State University practice soccer fields just east of Spartan Stadium.

The purpose of the Soccer Celebration is to kickoff and launch the project, as well as create awareness, excitement and momentum relating to the proposed new complex.

Come out and enjoy the festivities, and show your support for the Complex and the Earthquakes.  Download the flyer for a map of the location and information for ordering tickets for the Earthquakes game.

Tickets are $12, plus a $3 processing fee per order.
